Overview
Varavu is a 2026 Indian Malayalam-language action thriller film directed by Shaji Kailas and written by A.K. Sajan. The film marks the first collaboration between director Shaji Kailas and actor Joju George in the lead role. Produced by Naisy Reji under the banner of Olga Productions, the film features an ensemble cast including Murali Gopy, Arjun Ashokan, Saniya Iyappan, Vani Viswanath, Sukanya, Baburaj, and Deepak Parambol.
The story is set in the high ranges of Kerala, following Polachan (Joju George), a wealthy planter who returns to his native land after being released from prison. His homecoming forces a confrontation with powerful elites who have controlled the town for decades, exposing long-buried secrets and corruption that have festered across generations.
