Attack on Titan: The Last Attack is a Japanese animated film that compiles the two-part finale of the landmark anime series, Attack on Titan Final Season: The Final Chapters, into a single cinematic experience. Directed by Yuichiro Hayashi at studio MAPPA, the film is distributed in India by PVR INOX Pictures and is set to release on July 24, 2026.
Plot
Years after vowing to eradicate the Titans that destroyed his home, Eren Yeager sets a devastating plan in motion. His 'Rumbling' unleashes an unstoppable army of Colossal Titans, marching to flatten the world and eradicate every living thing beyond the walls of Paradis. In response, Eren's former comrades and enemies unite in a desperate, final mission to stop him before nothing remains. The film brings the complex, decade-spanning saga to a dramatic and controversial end.

Production and Release
The film compiles Attack on Titan The Final Season: The Final Chapters Special 1 and Special 2, which aired in Japan in March and November 2023, respectively. The theatrical version features improved cuts and 5.1 surround sound, and includes a new post-credits scene not seen in the broadcast version. The movie originally premiered in Japan on November 8, 2024. In India, the film was initially announced for June 26, 2026, but was later rescheduled to July 24, 2026. It will be available in premium formats including 4DX and MX4D. The film has a runtime of approximately 145 minutes and has received an 'A' (Adults Only) certificate from the CBFC in India.
Box Office
The film has performed well globally, grossing over $25 million worldwide during its theatrical run. In Japan, it has earned approximately $11.1 million as of early 2026.
